Animation Reel
Previous Work
Doors
In this boldly minimalistic short film, a woman is chased through a series of mysterious doors by a mass of sentient sludge.
Doors was the culmination of my BFA degree at DePaul university. In addition to writing storyboarding and animating, I also directed a team of musicians, sound designers and actors to bring the project to life.
It has since been featured internationally at 5 film festivals.
DePaul ASL Avatar Project
From 2019 through 2022, I worked as an animator on the Avatar Project team. I used in-house animation software to animate individual signs that would later be stitched into full sentences.
Over my 3 years on the team, I animated over 250 words in 4 sign languages: American, Greek, German and Swiss German. This also involved communicating with colleagues over seas and maintaining an organized database of animations and critiques.
My work was also included in several publications written by our team.

Schimbarea - opening titles
From storyboard to finished product, myself and two other animators animated the opening credits to the independent horror film, Schimbarea.
For this project we worked closely with the director to develop a visual style with many influences from Romanian folk art that complemented the themes of the film.
